Registration is now open for Northern Buckeye’s Google Certified Educator (GCE) Level 1 and Level 2 which will run this September – December. Each cohort will take an educator through all the preparation they will need for the Google Certified Educator exam and it can be done at your own pace.

The cohorts will be facilitated by myself and Chris Malanga (both Google Certified Trainers) using Google Classroom. The cohorts will be open from Monday, September 20th through Friday, December 17th. Participants work at their own pace, through eight modules of videos and activities to help them better understand Google Workspace. Even if you don’t want to take the certification exam, the course will help you use Google tools more effectively in your classroom.

There is no additional cost for either of the cohorts for teachers and staff from the Northern Buckeye full member districts and 5 full-service non-member districts. Click here to see if your district is eligible for free training. The cost of each cohort is $150 for teachers and staff of other non-member schools or non-public schools (a discount is available if multiple teachers participate with the school being billed).

If a teacher participates in the entire cohort, they can earn contact hours to be used toward licensure renewal or credit from Ashland University (at additional cost).

Please review the information below for each cohort. If you’re interested or would like more information, please visit the applicable website.
